Kristin Lindsay Danhoff, M.S.W
Ms. Danhoff is a doctoral candidate at Colorado State University with experience in social work, psychology, and research methodology. Kristin moved to Colorado in 2003 after completion of her Master’s of Social Work (MSW) degree. Her previous education includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Before returning to CSU for her doctorate, Kristin worked in the human, behavioral, and social science arenas as a direct service provider. She worked extensively with at-risk youth, domestic violence advocacy, medical social work, and managed care. Kristin has worked as a graduate research and teaching assistant in social work and education while getting her Ph.D. Her research interests include early childhood education, spirituality in social work education, teaching perspectives, and critical thinking in higher education. Kristin is an active member of the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE), American Evaluation Association (AEA), and Baccalaureate Program Directors (BPD) for social work.

James J. Dugan, Ph.D.
Dr. Dugan is an educational researcher and evaluator with expertise in science and mathematics education and quantitative research methodologies. He received his Ph.D. degree from Colorado State University, School of Education in Education with an emphasis on Educational Leadership. His research interests include science and mathematics education, computer technology, teacher quality, and accountability in education. He earned a B.S. degree from Colorado State University in Physical Sciences and an M. Ed. in Science Education from Boston University. Dr. Dugan has over ten years of classroom teaching experience in science and mathematics academic areas. He also has over fifteen years of experience in the private sector, including twelve years of management experience in educational and technology marketing of computer products for a Fortune 100 corporation. He is a member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), American Evaluation Association (AEA), the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), and the Campbell Collaboration.

Helen Holmquist-Johnson, Ph.D.
Dr. Holmquist-Johnson is a social science researcher and program evaluator. She received her Ph.D. from Colorado State University, School of Education in 2009. Helen has worked on a range of multidisciplinary research projects including large federal demonstration projects funded by the Center for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Holmquist-Johnson has taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses at Colorado State University in Research Methods, Program Evaluation and Social Policy. Prior to earning her doctorate, Helen worked in medical social work including, hospital and hospice settings. Her areas of interest are: social service evaluation, education assessment, human-animal bond, children’s grief and trauma, substance abuse prevention and recovery, health evaluations, and improving health disparities. She is an active member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and plays a leadership role in the Colorado affiliate to AEA: the Colorado Evaluation Network (COEN).
Tim Pearson, Ph.D.
For 30 years prior to joining RAE Partners, Dr. Pearson worked as an elementary educator. During his teaching career, Tim served on several instructional improvement committees, conducted teaching workshops, supervised student teachers, acted as a teacher mentor and was recognized by his district with an outstanding teacher award. His most recent teaching position was in a project-based learning school. Tim completed his doctoral studies at Colorado State University in Educational Leadership in 2009. During his sabbatical year he developed his research and evaluation skills while working as a research assistant for The Research and Development Center for the Advancement of Student Learning in Fort Collins, Colorado. While at the Center, Tim created numerous policy briefs for the local school board, participated in the design and implementation of program evaluations, and analyzed and reported the results of various surveys that informed school district policy. He has research experience with qualitative and mixed-methods studies. Tim’s research interests include educational and social program evaluations, school policy, and student assessment.
Kay Rios, Ph.D.
Dr. Rios is a journalist, grant writer, editor and instructor who received her masters in communication development and doctoral degree in educational leadership from Colorado State University (CSU). Her articles have appeared in a variety of newspapers and magazines including The Artist Magazine, Wilson Library Bulletin, Northern Colorado Business Report, Colorado State Magazine, 25 North, Fort Collins Coloradoan, Business World, Fence Post, Triangle Review, Changing Woman Magazine, ArtLinc and the Rocky Mountain Bullhorn. As a grant writer, Dr. Rios has worked with the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association, Children’s Speech & Reading Center, North Greeley Conservation District, OpenStage Theatre, Neighbor to Neighbor, and the Weld Food Bank. She also spent 28 years in management for an enterprise program at CSU. Her editing skills have developed over the years through her educational studies and her practical experience as an editor for Business World and the Golden West College Branding Iron. In addition, over the past two years, she has edited student papers submitted for peer review for the Associated Schools of Construction International Proceedings Annual Conference.

Evie Chenhall, Ph.D.
Dr. Chenhall has a Ph.D. degree in Education and Human Resource Studies with emphasis in Organizational Performance and Change. Evie's professional services goal is to utilize her relationship building, facilitation skills, and technical skills to diagnose performance issues based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Her competencies are related to employing systematic methodologies to assess leadership, systems, and processes. Evie has worked on course consulting teams in several industries utilizing a variety of change management methodologies. She has demonstrated her ability to prioritize projects, conduct in-depth problem solving, and recommend empirically based solutions/options for performance improvement. Her coursework has emphasized models for aligning job performance with strategic and tactical organizational goals. Her research interests include performance management, leadership development, organizational culture, and values.
